If you missed the latest Lazarides exhibition inside the Old Vic Tunnels underneath Waterlook station like I did, Iris Jones captured a few photos of the creepiness and gore that was meant to represent Dante’s Inferno.
According to Iris Jones, “You can still hear trains and everything smells of damp cave.”
“There are floating gold ships and walls of fire and suns made of hypodermic needles and pigeon wings,” she said.

There were truly some amazing and eye catching pieces of art there, and it did smell of a damp cave, however I never heard the trains…
