Pigeon City

I remember being in London as a child, and even when I was about 15 years old, when Trafalgar Square was swarming with the birds, when you could buy seed for them. My grandmother has a photo at the top of her staircase back in New York of me standing there in the square, about a year old, surrounded by pigeons. In fact, there’s even a website called Save the Trafalgar Square Pigeons.

Then, there is of course, Brian Pigeon, blogging about the lives of pigeons in London since 2005, updated regularly and always entertaining.

I love this little series of bathing pigeons added to the LLO Flickr pool by new contributor Uair01.
