It’s amazing how shamelessly open these places are, but you see them all over London – not only in Soho and Chinatown but in King’s Cross, the East End, Earl’s Court… Here’s a few more signs from Chinatown.

Right at the edge of Chinatown is London’s Soho. It’s full of tourists like everywhere else in the centre of the city, passing through to get a glimpse at the sex shops and trashy lingerie. It’s what goes on behind closed doors that has made this area famous. If you keep your eyes open, you’ll see the brothels, the doorways leading to a narrow flight of steps where signs are posted saying models are on the first and second floor.
