MCM Expo: Playing Dress Up

Ghosts, goblins, zombies and all that. Did you celebrate Halloween this year? I didn’t unless you count the pumpkins we carves when Jorge and I were in New York a few weeks ago:

Jorge’s is the skull, mine the cat.
Apparently shortly after we left NY, the friendly neighbourhood squirrels climbed inside the cat and sabotaged it…The skull survived.

Dixon1919 contributed a bunch of costume photos from the MCM Expo in London last weekend to the Flickr pool so I thought it would be an appropriate time to share those with you. If you dressed up or carved pumpkins last weekend, add them to the pool.

The end.

By the way, can you believe it’s already November??

Hell’s Half Acre

If you missed the latest Lazarides exhibition inside the Old Vic Tunnels underneath Waterlook station like I did, Iris Jones captured a few photos of the creepiness and gore that was meant to represent Dante’s Inferno.

According to Iris Jones, “You can still hear trains and everything smells of damp cave.”

“There are floating gold ships and walls of fire and suns made of hypodermic needles and pigeon wings,” she said.

If you’ve been to an unusual London event and got some good snaps to share, add em to the LLO Flickr pool.
